Welcome to The Herbal Secret
My name is Kat. I am a Clinical Western Herbalist with a background in education, working with a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence and capacity for regulation.
I work with the body as an intelligent, responsive system, capable of restoring balance when supported with the right inputs and at the right pace.
My practice is informed by clinical training in Western herbal medicine, alongside an understanding of how stress, environment, and internal demand shape health across the nervous, hormonal, digestive, and immune systems. I work through careful observation and pattern recognition, rather than rigid protocols.
I do not see healing as something imposed or forced. I see it as something that emerges when the body is supported thoughtfully, within the context of the whole person.
Alongside my herbal training, I hold a Bachelor of Education and have worked extensively with children and adolescents, including those with autism, ADHD, and additional support needs. I have also worked within alternative learning communities, including private teaching for homeschooling students and families.
This background continues to inform how I support children, where care often extends beyond the individual to the wider system around them, including environment, routine, and nervous system load.
My own health journey has reinforced the importance of listening closely to the body, particularly when imbalance is subtle or developing over time.
